Camping Policies
Baseball teams are not permitted at Stillwater Park Campground. - No exceptions.
Rates – are based on one family per site (2 adults and 2 children under 12) – one accommodation per site -- an additional small tent for children may be allowed with management approval. Additional people are $5 per night to a max of 6 people per site.
Holidays - online reservations are not accepted for long weekends or holiday weekends. Please call 807-887-3701 for availability.
Check-in/Check-out – check-in time is between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. . Early check-in fee of $20.00 applies to check-ins before 2:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 am. Campers wishing to stay beyond this time must confirm with Management and the appropriate rate will apply.
Same Day Online Reservations – check-in time is between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. . Check-out is 12:00 noon. Campers who booked online after 8:00 pm for same day arrival will not have access to washrooms or showers as they are locked and will need coded access.
Camping Fees and Early Departure - Camping fees are non refundable. There are no refunds for early departures, we cannot control the weather or your change of plans. - We have reserved your site for your use for the days you requested.
Alcohol – alcoholic beverages shall be confined to your campsite – no alcohol consumption under 19 years of age – use of illegal drugs is not permitted anywhere on Park property Firearms, slingshots, air rifles, fireworks are NOT permitted in the Park.
Cannabis – cannabis smoking and vaping will permitted in your registered campsite only - cannabis smoking or vaping will not be allowed in the playground, washrooms/showers and laundry area - any person under the age of 18 is prohibited from smoking/vaping or consuming cannabis on Park property.
Smoking – smokers must put extinguished butts in garbage or fire rings – no smoking in any facilities on Park property – a charge of $25.00 will be applied to credit card if clean-up of your campsite is required.
Campfires – campfires are permitted unless there is a fire ban (check with Management) and must be in the provided fire ring only – do not relocate any fire rings – all fires must be completely out before retiring – no cutting of brush or trees for fire wood.
NO firewood permitted to be brought into the Campground – firewood may be purchased at the Office.

Damages – the registered campsite guest shall be responsible for damages to their campsite property and any damages they or their guest(s) cause to the campsite grounds – no carving into picnic table provided – no nails to be put in any trees – no cutting trees or branches for any reason, including fire starting.
Garbage/Recycle– Garbage must be bagged and deposited into barrels no later than 9:00 pm. If you have garbage after that time please leave in your camper until the morning. We do not want to attract bears! – recyclable items (no batteries/propane bottles, etc.) to be taken to Recycle bins and separated accordingly as required during your stay.
Guests/Visitors – campers may have day guests/visitors only with prior permission from Management – no overnight stays – all guest/visitors must register at the Office prior to visiting your campsite – day fees and parking fees may apply to all guests/visitors – all guests/visitors must leave the park by 10:00 p.m. and may not arrive before 9:00 a.m.
Indemnity – campers are responsible for their family/guests activities at all times – Stillwater Park Campground has no responsibility for any person or persons using the campsite and surrounding grounds for loss or injury to their person or property, whether loss through fire, theft, collision or vandalism including all items in your campsite on Stillwater Park.
Campground property (ATVs, snowmobiles, boats, trailers for these vehicles, automobiles, etc.)
Motorized Vehicles/ATV’s – these vehicles are not permitted to be driven through the Park but may be driven from your campsite to the road in order to access trails – all operators must have a valid drivers license and all vehicles/ATV’s must be plated and insured – maximum driving speed is 10km/hr – operating these vehicles prior to 9:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m. is not permitted on Park property.
Electric Vehicles - charging of electric vehicles is prohibited at Stillwater Campground. There are Tesla and other electric vehicle charging stations available at the Nipigon Info Center and Petro Canada Station on Highway 11/17. People found charging their vehicles will be asked to leave the property and no refunds will be given.
Pets – pets are welcome but must be registered and approved by Management prior to camping – we do not allow hyper-active or aggressive breeds (pitbulls/rottweilers/dobermans) dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times – stoop and scoop rule in effect at all times, a charge of $25.00 will be applied to credit card if clean-up of your campsite is required – DO NOT put scoop bags in recycle bins, use garbages only – no continuous barking or dog and owners will be required to leave without refund – ABSOLUTELY NO PETS permitted in playground areas or facilities.
Policies – any violation of these camping policies or violations that disrupt the peace, safety and enjoyment of others, including Management, is cause for expulsion without notice, refund or credit.
Quiet Time – in consideration of other guests and neighbours, music must be played softly at all times including daytime– no excessive noise after 11:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. No check-ins to your campsite after 9:00 p.m.
Shower/Washroom/Sanitation Facility – this is a privilege service – please keep this area tidy – no children unattended in this facility – no pets allowed in this facility – ABSOLUTELY no wipes of any kind in toilets, including Clorox/Lysol-type cleaning wipes – toilet paper only in toilets -feminine products please use bin provided.
We reserve the right to limit the number of persons per campsite and to terminate a reservation at any time – a reservation is a firm contract. Rates are subject to change without notice and there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures, for any reason.
